Yoga: Basic Stretches

I hope you have been through my Introductory post on Yoga and the Breath technique to follow while in an aasana. This post in the Yoga series will shed light on one of the basic stretches, the Butterfly stretch for the lower half of your body. Also known as ‘Purna Titali Aasana’, where ‘Purna’ means ‘Complete’, ‘Titali’ means ‘Butterfly’. In this pose the legs spread out imitate the outstretched wings of the Butterfly in flight.
